Both of our bathrooms have gotten upgrades in the last few weeks. Our upstairs bathroom has been ‘in progress’ for about two years but this weekend we finally painted and hung the round mirror we had for there and it looks really good. I can’t believe we waited so long.. the mirror and sink and faucet are IKEA, the toilet is a fancy Phillipe Starck by Duravit number, the penny tile was installed by yours truly and the hanging planter was five dollars on amazon a couple years ago. I found the light fixture on Etsy by IndLights. All the real heavy lifting was Julio. The bad paint job and sketchy tile job were by me. I need a ‘craftsmanship’ filter on Instagram to make my messy paint lines look good. 

Then our downstairs powder room got some new accessories too. I got the brass and wood towel hoop and toilet paper holder from ferm living and they go really well with the navy walls. I think next step is a good brass faucet because the existing one is hideous. Also a decent light fixture. A small kilim for in there would be good too. Clearly this one needs more work. 

And I should buy Aesop hand soap for both bathrooms because that’s what the cool kids do and the bottles are pretty. But anyway..
